The ministry of the Deaconess / Mother’s Board is a multi-tiered ministry to the Zion Hill congregation and community. This ministry renders service to the congregation by assisting with the church ordinances of Communion, Baptism, as well as providing support to the Senior Pastor and Family. Through visiting the sick, needy, and mentoring young women, the Deaconess / Church Mothers render service to the community.
As mothers, we are to be of good character; willing to help when or wherever the need might be. Our church responsibilities include: Assist in baptism, Assist in communion, Having wisdom and courage to correct individuals.
