The Rev. Dr. Jeremy Head, Sr. is our Senior Pastor. He is a bi-vocational Pastor and serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Henry County Emergency Management Agency in McDonough, Georgia. Pastor Head is the son of the late Rev. Grady and Sis. Lurline Head. He was called into the Christian Ministry at the age of eighteen while serving in the United States Army; and he is a Veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
Pastor Head has received many awards and achievements. He is the recipient of the Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Stars. He is also an inductee into the Butts County Veterans Memorial Wall of Honor for outstanding service during Operation Desert Storm. Pastor Head is also the recipient of the 1998 and 2012 Butts Men of Action Minister of the Year, and the Tri Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s Minister of the Year. In 2012, he was selected as one of the “Chosen Pastors” by The Gospel Choice Awards.
Pastor Head is a graduate of Jackson High School. He holds dual certifications in Advanced and Certified Emergency Management from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business degree with a concentration in Emergency Management from Ohio Christian University. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree, a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling degree, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He is the proud father of three children: Jeremy Jr., Jeremiah and Jada Head. He is also a father figure to Montavious and Maliyah Fears.
